Advanced Patient Advocacy acts as mother’s legal advocate.

Baby saved. No Insurance.

Sometimes, the most satisfying work is also the most financially rewarding.

pdf-downloadOn a rainy August evening, a young mother-to-be was driving home from her baby shower when the unthinkable happened. She lost control of her car and slammed head-on into a tree.

Emergency workers found the mother and unborn infant in critical condition. Mother and child were rushed to the nearest trauma center, where an emergency c-section was performed.

The emergency intervention was successful, but the resulting hospital bill, and ancillary charges, surpassed $150,000.

There was no private insurance.

ss-baby-lgAdvanced Patient Advocacy (APA), was able to work with the family and secure government benefits to offset the full amount of the bill.

When initial benefits were denied, we acted as the family’s legal representative and successfully appealed their case to the Medical Assistance Bureau providing relief to the family and financial
restitution for the hospital.

This is just one of the many real life stories in which APA has helped families survive the pain of medical emergencies.

What makes APA so different?
Simple. Advocacy is our only mission.

We go above and beyond and do whatever is necessary to let no one fall through the cracks. For us, it’s not just business. It is passion for what we do.

Our competitors say we are “nice guys.” Our hospitals say they’ve “never seen a more stunning recovery.”

We invite you to call for more details, and discover the APA difference.
